Another mixed media extravaganza! I love "balanced" asymmetry in jewelry and this necklace really shows it off elegantly. The contrast of the rich black, yet delicate oxidized chain with the subtle blush of dusty rose freshwater pearls is pushed further with the addition of rough-cut, weighty pyrite and and the refined faceted champagne quartz. Balance is achieved by the addition of an organic faceted smokey quartz nugget opposite the two faceted briolettes. It's a statement for sure, but it's not screaming. It's thoughtful, classic and just works when you put it on.
